Capacity Building sessions organized by AFRALO for its ALS representatives about 4 main policy topics: 1. How to participate in names Policy Development Process and develop an At-Large statement 2. Security Trends Impacting Registrants and End-Users 3. ICANN Empowered Community 4. Next Generation Registration Directory Services These sessions are organized in an interactive format to allow more involvement of the ALS reps and better comprehension of the topics.
This Capacity Building Program included pre-Johannesburg webinars to introduce ICANN and the Policy Development to newly accredited ALSes, to explain all AFRALO Activities at ICANN59, and to detail the whole ICANN meeting schedule in Johannesburg.
